Search & Rescue K9 Misha

About Us

Misha is a purebred German Shepherd Dog.  Born in April of 2001 in New Hampshire, he started his Search and Rescue training at nine weeks old and was certified as a trailing dog by Evergreen Search & Rescue in September of 2002.

Training continues on a weekly basis and has included a Jonni Joyce Trailing Dog Seminar as well as handler instruction by K9 Trainer Jeff Finlay.  Misha is currently a member of Evergreen Search & Rescue and Lower Kiski EMS Search & Rescue.

Handler Dave Lynch is also an Instructor for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and is able to instruct the Hasty Team, Search Responder and Managing Search Operations classes.  Please contact us for additional information, or to schedule a class for your group.  All PA DCNR classes are presented free of charge.
